I had faith in Asharam Bapu. Though I can’t judge blindly for any sadhu or maharaj. But the news shocked everyone, since the two children are found dead in Asharam Bapu’s Ashram. I can’t say what has happened and what is going on inside and outside the ashram. Who is right and who is wrong. But the incident is a shamefull one. But what Asharam Bapu has to say in this matter? Where is he and why he is not visible in any news channel?

Well, lets the CID find it out soon. It’s a relieve that four teams of CID Crime Branch raided the Ashram of Asharam Bapu in Ahmedabad. But we want the result soon.

Firstly, I would like to say this has nothing to do with Sant shri Asaramji Bapu. The boys joined the Gurukul 1 month ago, they escaped from backside of ashram and got drowned in sabarmati river. .Police, CBI enquiry, FSL report everyone gave a ” clean chit” report to ashram. Now what all media is doing is is attempting to blemish the image of venerable Sant Asaram Bapuji.They don’t realise Asaram bapuji is not backing any party. He is always backing Satya, Desh ki sewa & helping the people realize their responsibility towards their country. He goes from place to place explaining this to people and filling the hearts of the people with Bhagawat Preeti…..and helping the people lead a simple and blissful life. What is happening is nothing new for Hindu saints.. Samaj have created similar problems for Buddha..Kabir…Nanak ..Vashishth Je during their mortal period.

The truth behind the incident of the two Gurukul Students.

The Gurukul authorities got into action immediately on getting the doubt that two of the Gurukul inmates are missing. On 4Th July 2008, at around 11 a.m. in the morning, the Gurukul coordinator, along with the parents of missing children, went to the ChaandKhera Outpost and Adaalaja Police Station to lodge an FIR for the matter. The Police officials dissuaded the authorities from lodging an FIR, suggesting that the kids may have gone to see the Rathyatra or any nearby place, and should come back on their own. With due approval from the parents, the FIR was not registered.

* Nevertheless, a team of 50-60 sevadhaaris was sent out to the RathYatra to search the missing kids. In addition to this, teams were also sent to railway station and bus Depot. Hence, the allegations of not cooperating are totally unjustified and baseless.



* Ashram authorities had never requested anyone to abstain from reporting this matter to media. On the contrary, the authorities themselves were using media to good effect in order to find the missing children. Pictures of the missing boys were published in a news paper. The news of the also broadcasted on Citi cable and Doordarshan.



* As for the delay in lodging the FIR, the Gurukul coordinator had gone to the Police station on 3rd July itself. But, the on duty officer suggested waiting for some time, and checking with the relatives of the missing boys. It was on insistence from the parents that an FIR was lodged. Gurukul coordinator was accompanying the parents at that time.



* Ashram does not indulge in any kind of tantric experiments. In fact, it is always discouraged in Ashram. Hence these kinds of allegations are totally untruthful and groundless.



* To avoid the strict surveillance at the main gate of Ashram, the boys must have chosen to escape from the backside, which is close to the river. As a result, this unfortunate incidence happened. On 5th July 2008 the authorities were informed of their dead bodies found in a drowned state, around 2-2.5 KM away from the Ashram compound. The birds and animals were pecking at the dead bodies. The claims from Ashram are further corroborated by the autopsy and FSL reports, which state that drowning was the cause of the death.



* The local people, staying nearby the Ashram, had spotted the dead bodies even before Ashram got any news on the matter. Out of panic, the local people did not inform the Police. During Police investigation, this fact also came forward. Ashram helped the Police in every possible way, but still they are being accused of not cooperating.



* According to Police, in case of death by drowning, because of remaining under water 2-3 days, the body swells and starts floating on the surface. This is clearly evident in this case. A crowd had gathered around the dead bodies, and seeing this crowd a visitor got the news of some dead bodies found near the Ashram compound. He later informed the Ashram authorities of this, and the matter was reported to Police. The Police then took the custody of the dead bodies.



* When Police took charge of the dead bodies, they were in a decomposed state and pecked at by birds and animals.



* When Bapuji (who is in dehli for Gurupoonam Satsang)was informed of this unfortunate incident he paid his condolences for the deceased and instructed all the Ashramites and Sadhaks to read the seventh chapter of Gita for peace to the departed souls. Thereafter sadhaks from different places in Gujarat prayed for the peace of the departed soul.



* In the face of this trouble, all the sadhaks are standing united with the families of the boys who suffered this terrible loss. Thousand of sadhaks are paying condolence to the grieving family.



* Ashram authorities have left no stone unturned in helping in investigation. Every piece of information has been provided with a complete transparency on the matter. They have worked with media and Police on every aspect of the case, and are ready share all information, should someone desire any explanation.

And also I should mention that blaming a True real saint is the biggest sin a human can do according to our holy ancient scriptures. Having expressed my apology to you all, I wanna ask a simple question what would your reaction had been if a neutral view upon what happened there in ashram.

You say, we are media people; utterly mistaken. We are the common masses of India, whom you may term as non-believers if you like to. I do back Ravinder and Sasmita up coz they’ve expressed what they feel.

How can you say we are hindering the investigations whatsoever?

Y’know Sukeshini, it’s a very biased opinion you’re putting forward time and again, be neutral dear; sorry, not possible for you.

As far as IB is concerned, it’s a platform where ppl are free to give vent to their honest opinion.

I do respect your respect towards Pujya Bapu ji, but mind you, each and every Indian doesn’t feel the same. There had been controversies in past, and they’d continue to be.

sir, none of bapu’s believers needs any apology because bapu teaches forgiveness. if you want a neutral reaction, tell me one case other than this where media is silent about the report of investigating agencies and banking upon surmises made by known enemies of the person concerned. i want to ask the haters of bapu what will be their reaction if similar tirade was launched against them. i want to ask the media why it does not find out the truth from investigating agencies, doctors who conducted post mortem, the Forensic science people. unfortunate though the death of his children is, does vaghela get license to hang any man thereby? he is asking, the ashram should be closed and goes on fast. how come he becomes certain of exorcism being practised in the ashram immediately after the death of his children. he surely was convinced of ashram preparing his children for a better life a couple of months ago when he sent his children to ashram gurukul. i for one am for the truth and am taking all the trouble of reacting because truth is entirely on bapu’s side. it is no blind faith. my eyes are wide open. i started reacting to the hate mails only when i came to know that the death of children was by drowning, which rules out any and all allegations against bapu.

Can’t you see the difference between a news link and an article? What’s under discussion is a newslink and what we are doing is expressing what we feel like over the issue.

We also want that truth should come out and the normalcy should be restored. NO bitterness whatsoever, though depends the way a person thinks.

Miracles, chamatkaar, and blah blah....., I am serious believer of all these; they do happen. But, there are certain malpractices that remain related to so many ashramas in every nook and corner of India. Just believing these miracles doesn’t mean we become dumb and deaf about what the reality could be.

It looks like you have not listen to satsang of Bapuji and the various humanitarian activities that the ashram does. Dont just loose your faith just by hearing to the media. In India, wherever there is good, wherever there is fame, others want to pull their legs and defame them. Its not only with
Asaram Bapuji but also with many saints like swami vivekananda, Tukaram, Namdev and many other. Even Gandhiji was also blamed even though he was responsible for getting independence to our country. But today after many years when these great people are not on earth, people read their books, listen to their satsang, read their biographies and get lot of mental peace.
So also people dont understand the greatness of a saint when they are alive, but after their disappearance people then realize about the greatness of saint.
These CID raids cannot come up with anything, as what is there to find out? Its the seva people are doing over there, without expecting anything in return. Everything is done for the welfare of people physically, mentally and spiritually. When millions of people, politicians and many great people listen to satsang and get peace, we should not lose faith just because of some false propaganda.

Though there is nothing nonsensical in the remarks put forward by me and Sasmita, it’s clearly a prejudiced overview of some purely sensible and enlightened ones who can’t wait for the law and media to proceed and portray what could be a sensible interpretation of what may have undergone there in the ashram.

don’t expect any rationality from media. they have more important things to do. their first priority is sensation. then they are easily manipulable. if you have money, (which bapu’s enemies have aplenty) you can get them to scandalise anybody. moreover, there are many people who are naturally jealous of anybody becoming popular. media is predominently manned by such people.

sidhu ji! why don’t you say what the truth is. if shekhavat is changing the topic come to the point and tell what is the truth. and shekhavat is not quite off the mark. answer these questions: the children went missing on 3rd july. bodies found on 5th july. genuine anger would have been aroused on 5th or 6th. why bandh was declared on guru purnima day on 18th july when lakhs of people were to come to have bapuji’s darshan and satsang; why auto rickshaw union was involved in the bandh; why was there a rehearsal of bandh two days earlier on 16th july; why media never talked to police, post mortem and FSL people and carried with glee all and any accusation and invective against bapuji? search the answers to these questions and you will know shekhavat is right.

Nice to see some one from Himanchal. I studied in rohru and been to Dodra Kwar and many remote areas in Shimla.

I don’t agree to your comment after visiting many religion for last 10 years at last i found this saint as a great saint. He never ask for money from you at least i am seeing for last 5 years, My family and more than 10 families in my village have completely changed from his teaching that only love to all and help the poors.

I have to Canada and Italy and i found many Indians are sending their children to India in such gurukul because they don’t respect their parents.

This is really very sad how all the news channels are showing the Bapu Ji image they are not showing the good work done by Bapu Ji.

I was never attached so much to the ashram but after seeing a great saint crying i am sure those all behind this consipiracy will face the result. I am listning to his voice for last 5 years when i was just studying and was into many bad habbits i was earning Rs 5000 per month that time but my life got changed when i heard his voice.

After doing his yoga and pranayam my confidence level increased to new level and now i am working in MNC company and getting more than Rs 1 Lakh per month. My sister is treated freely for breast cancer and she is fine now.

This saint never never asked us to pay for his ashram. I am very sure that if GOD exist all those who are behind this will get punishment from God i want to see that day.

Bapu ji has done a lot for the society shame on all these channels.

We must write to all these channels, they can’t do anything against bapu ji we have rishi prashad which will reach people and will tell the truth.

I never believed in saints and was in some other religion for many years. But Bapu Ji has done a lot for public. I was looking at him from all angles he never never asked for money.

I married without dowry and very small function it was all his teaching not to spend money and donate it to poor. I did that he did not said donate it to his ashram.

My sister is cured from breast cancer and there is no doctor fees.

What our MPs and ministers do they take our tax and temple money and do nothing for society. Come to his ashram and see how people are meditating and working for social upliftment they are not waisting their money by watching cricket and movies.

Same thing 90% engineers believe in my company they go their feel comfortable for that they never paid.

Govt should have control on media.

He even strictly forbidded all his disciples to give gurudakshina in the form of money and demanded it in asking us to be good and polite to all.

I am neither the follower of Bapu nor paid representative of media.Interestingly,I have faith both in media and saints!! So guys I am putting forward a ”neutral view ” as some are more interested in ”neutral viewpoint” over facts and disclosures.

There is nothing wrong with the investigation.But aren’t we aware of the fact that in our country it’s very to harass individuals/institutions via fake cases?No doubt investigation should be carried out but I have rarely seen that news of acquittal ever makes a head line.Such news links are never displayed with prominence,more so if they seem to be associated with concerns of Hindu!

It’s not the act but the intention that’s creating problem.It’s the motive that makes or mar the purpose.

Well,Courts have expressed anger many times the way media comes to conduct parallel trial.Who has given the media to conduct parallel trials? Recently, a women accused four policemen of Gang raping her within Police Station.All the TV channels and newspapers started baying for the blood of policemen,with TV channels having heated discussion involving incompetency of police and rights of women.That made news.Now the said story has turned out to be concocted.The TV channels have now gone in the hiding.That’s the way our media operates.Why the media and TV channels are not highlighting first their own misdeeds and secondly how it’s easy for women to frame men by filing fake cases ?

The job of media is to present facts by reporting as it is.Of late,it has started conducting ”parallel trials” in which person is held guilty or presented as criminals even if there are no sufficient proofs or for that matter even if there are many dark corners.

What is the urgency? That urgency is more visible if any Hindu institution is involved.Why objectivity and transparency while reporting anything associated with Hindu saints means tarnishing their image with wrong set of findings?This has also to do with type of secularism we are following wherein it’s imperative to be anti-Hindu to honour the tenets of secularism!It’s shame that it does not sent ripple when hard core terrorists and organizations like SIMI not only come to find supporters but many come to shed tears how investigative agencies are violating the human rights.Look at the media how it changes it’s opinion on the role of investigative agencies.The whole world was so much concerned how we are using investigative mechanism to harass the Muslims or the innocent citizens.As a result POTA was taken back.

But when the same investigative mechanism harasses Hindu institutions and Hindu saints the Hindus are asked to shut up and let the law takes it course.Please notice the paradox.That dubiousness angers Hindus.Nobody is against investigation but the motive that initiates the whole investigation.

So there is no problem with the investigation.No problem with the reporting either.But one needs not to be Einstein that in India it’s very easy to manipulate the process and it’s very easy to plant dubious reports with help of money that’s enough to turn a ”hero” into ”zero”.What about it?Look at CBI.Haven’t this agency been used by the ruling party to frame innocent people ?
