Maybe Advani has got it right.
And I say this for two reasons.
One, the entire show in the parliament could hardly do any good to Manmohan Singh and Congress. Even if the inquiry proves them to be innocent, yet the image would always take a beating.
And Two, BJP had little to gain anyway. What if it did manage to topple the government down? What has helped BJP is the fact that it has managed to reveal the utter hopelessness that Congress finds itself in. The fact that a ruling party has to muster support one MP at a time would do little for its credibility for winning elections.
