OK. So what is the problem with that? Will more people die than those that have already died in the hands of Mugabe? Will more people be displaced? What is the problem, Mugabe?

There is already a civil war going on in Zimbabwe. If it is not, it will start any moment. Does civil war means the government will start carrying out a genocide forcing innocent and repressed civilians to take up arms aided by foreign countries to overthrow the despot? Mugabe knows very well about civil wars, doesn't he?

I had the exact same thought. It’s going to be war sooner or later, may as well be sooner.

There must be even tighter sanctions on Zimbabwe. The people are already facing miseries beyond one can comprehend. Many are facing starvation. Economic sanctions would mean foreign companies especially from China and Venezuela will not be able to business in Zimbabwe as they would risk ban elsewhere. This will tighten the financial screw on Zanu-PF and won't be able to keep the army in good humour for long.
